Safe Use

Use on dirt and common pet stains such as urine, feces, and vomit. Safe for all moisture-tolerant and colorfast surfaces like sealed floors, carpet, furniture, pet bedding and crates. DIRECTIONS: Remove excess pet waste before use. Shake well, then spot-test in a small hidden area. Generously spray the affected area and wait 1-2 minutes before wiping or blotting clean.

IMPORTANT: Do not mix with other household cleaners.

    Q: Can I use Lively Probiotic Pet Multi-Surface Stain & Odor Remover with other cleaners?

    A: Since our product includes live probiotics, you should not use other traditional cleaners (like antibacterial cleaners or ones that say they kill germs) on the same surface before or after using Lively, because those traditional cleaners may also kill the probiotics that are in Lively products. Also keep in mind if you’re using a sponge or cloth that you just used with a traditional cleaner make sure to rinse it thoroughly before using Lively products.

    Q: What additional tips do you have for using this product on carpets &/or fabrics like pet bedding or furniture?

    A: Important: do not mix with other pet mess cleaners or household cleaners, as they may kill the live probiotics in Lively. Lively products are safe for moisture-tolerant and colorfast surfaces. (Some
    fabrics that are typically NOT moisture-tolerant nor colorfast are silk, wool and leather.)  Shake well, then spot-test in a small hidden area.

    •For carpets or fabrics apply enough product so it can penetrate deeply to the stain/odor source.

    •Leave on for a few minutes to allow the probiotics to break down the stain.

    •Blot with color-safe cloth to remove stain.

    •If stain &/or odor persists, apply again. Leave treated area wet and let it air dry.

    Q: Do I need to rinse the surface after using Lively Probiotic Pet Multi-Surface Stain & Odor Remover?

    A: There is no need to rinse surfaces after using this product. 

    Q: How do some Lively probiotic household cleaning and pet care products “move” into cracks and crevices?

    A: The probiotics are natural living “good bacteria”, and they have a need to find dirt to “eat”. So, as they clean, they may move into cracks and crevices as they look for more dirt. Also, a nice benefit is that when a surface is touched that has been cleaned with the probiotics, the probiotics are transferred to other surfaces and will help clean that second surface as well. An example would be a person touching a kitchen counter that was cleaned with Lively, and then that person touches a kitchen cabinet.
