    Product FAQs

    Q: Can I use Lively Probiotic Multi-Surface Cleaner & Degreaser with other cleaners?

    A: Since our product includes live probiotics, you should not use other traditional cleaners (like antibacterial cleaners or ones that say they kill germs) on the same surface before or after using Lively, because those traditional cleaners may also kill the probiotics that are in Lively products. Also keep in mind if you’re using a sponge or cloth that you just used with a traditional cleaner make sure to rinse it
    thoroughly before using Lively products.

    Q: In the directions I didn’t see stainless steel listed. Can I use Lively Multi-Surface Cleaner on it ?

    A: Yes.  We didn’t have room on our label to list everything, so we made sure to say, “This product is safe for all moisture-tolerant and colorfast surfaces.”  That would include stainless steel. When
    using Lively household cleaning products, please shake well, then spot-test in a
    small hidden area if you’re not sure     if the surface is moisture-tolerant & colorfast.

    Q: In the directions I didn’t see marble listed. Can I use Lively Multi-Surface Cleaner on it?

    A: Yes.  We didn’t have room on our label to list everything, so we made sure to say, “This product is safe for all moisture-tolerant and colorfast surfaces.”  That would include marble as long as it is sealed. When using Lively, please shake well, then spot-test in a small hidden area if you’re not sure if the surface is moisture-tolerant & colorfast. Marble is a soft stone, and most fabricators recommend that it’s
    professionally re-sealed every 6 months to 1 year.

    Q: Does this product clean very tough messes like mold on surfaces or very dirty grout between tiles?

    A: Yes, the product will clean very tough messes through continued use.  Since our product purposely does not include any harsh cleaners like bleach, cleaning of very tough messes may not be immediate with the first time Lively is used on the mess, but cleaning will occur through continued use. 

    Q: Does this product remove stuck-on food on surfaces?

    A: This product should remove stuck-on food as long as it is not something that has been there for an extended period of time &/or re-baked onto a surface.  Tips: remove any excess food first, then spray Lively and leave on the mess for 1-2 minutes before wiping
    clean.  You may need to repeat this step (remove excess; spray more Lively and leave on another 1-2 minutes or longer, then wipe clean).

    Q: Do I need to rinse the surface after using Lively Probiotic Multi-Surface Cleaner?

    A: There is no need to rinse surfaces after using this product.  You may want to rinse, however, if you were cleaning a very greasy surface. 

    Q: Can I use degreaser to clean my oven?

    A: Yes, Lively can be used to clean the inside of an oven and the cooktop surface, it is recommended to allow time to soak then it will aid in cleaning. Repeated application and wiping steps will be necessary. Please test in an unnoticeable area and follow your manufacturers cleaning instructions.

    Q: How do you get heavy grease off a stovetop?

    A: For surfaced soiled with heavy grease build-up, remove as much of the soiled residue as possible prior to applying Lively.  Apply the Lively degreaser and allow product to set (5-10 minutes) to solubilize the grease and wipe off with multiple paper towels or with a reusable cloth that is rinsed well between wipes.  Repeated application and wiping steps as necessary.

    Q: What are the safety precautions for degreaser?

    A: Wash hands thoroughly after use. If contact with eyes occurs, flush with water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Speak with a doctor before using if you or a member of your household is immunocompromised. Keep out of reach of children.

    Q: How effective are natural degreasers?

    A: Lively works best on those stains created in the house by household products such as plant-based cooking oils, animal byproducts and other organic soils.  The product will clean very tough messes through continued use.  Since our product purposely does not include any harsh cleaners like bleach, cleaning of very tough messes may not be immediate with the first time Lively is used on the mess, but cleaning will occur through continued use.
