Safe Use

Safe on all colorfast washables. If unsure, spot-test in a small hidden area first. Not recommended for use on silk or wool. Treat stains as soon as possible. Shake well. Spray generously and wait 1-2 minutes before rinsing or
washing in warm water ONLY.

    Product FAQs

    Q: Can I use Lively Probiotic Laundry Stain Remover with other cleaners?

    A: Since our product includes live probiotics, you should not use other Lively with any other pre-treatment product such as bleach, since traditional
    cleaners with harsh chemicals may kill the probiotics that are in Lively products. Once the stain is treated (see other FAQs below for tips), it’s fine to use your regular detergent in the laundry.

    Q: What additional tips do you have for using this product?

    IMPORTANT: do not mix with other laundry stain removers, they may kill the live probiotics in Lively. Lively products are safe for moisture-tolerant and colorfast surfaces. (Some fabrics that are typically NOT moisture-tolerant nor colorfast are silk, wool and leather.) Shake well, then spot-test in a small hidden area.

    Treat stain as soon as possible.

    For regular stains:

    (1) Apply enough product so it can penetrate deeply to the stain/odor source.

    (2) Leave on for at least 1-2 minutes to allow the probiotics to break down the stain. The product works best if it does not dry out on the fabric before putting into the washing machine (or handwashing).

    (3) When washing the item use WARM water. Too cold and the probiotics become extremely sluggish; too hot and the probiotics may not survive.

    For tough stains:

    (1) Wet the fabric first on and around the stain, then spray Lively product on the stain and rub into the stain, moving toward the center of the stain.

    (2) Follow the rest of the directions in the ‘for regular stains’ paragraph above.
